Democrat leader Lulzim Basha stressed that it is never too late to apologize during the meeting with Durrës supporters.
“We will end this mess very soon by parting with the past, with the symbols of corruption, reaching out to those honest Democrats who lost their way. Our program and vision is the development of Durrës through merit, the return of Albanians against corruption. We know how to leave the past without forgetting it, to apologize, ready to make any sacrifice at the head of the majority of Albanians who want to end the dinosaurs of transition. It’s never time to tell the Democrats we were wrong, an apology he did not ask for“, Said Basha.
The leader of the Democratic Party, taught a lot of the truth, which the Democrats have said out loud when others have not dared, according to him.
“We have not come to insult any single democrat, to slander against any Albanian and no longer against members of the political party. There is nothing stronger than the truth and it is with us. We have always said it out loud when others have not even dared to whisper it. How many times have we visited the neighborhoods devastated by the earthquake in Durrës, Fushë Krujë. He wanted to put the DP in a black hole. “Only three people want the Vetting of politicians, why they do not want it, because this separates the alum from the sugar”, said Basha.
Basha stopped this Saturday in Durrës, where he was again received by a group of protesters who want him to leave the post he holds.
Supporters of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha loudly shout “Basha ik”, while some of them have clashed with the group that supports the leader of the Democratic Party.
The presence of numerous police forces has kept the situation under control and the conflict should not escalate further.
The protest took place in the main square of Durrës, in front of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” theater, where Basha’s meeting with his supporters is currently being held, while the protesters continue to stay in the square.
The deep and violent clash to take control of the blue headquarters in Tirana, has left the place for the meetings of Lulzim Basha and Sali Berisha in a tour throughout the country.
The two Democrats have rallied forces to keep their supporters close, as the Democratic Party’s domestic political situation becomes increasingly tense.
