The meeting is chaired by the chairman of the parliamentary group Enkelejd Alibeaj, who read in front of colleagues a draft statement on the position of the PD group on the situation:
1. The parliamentary group of PD evaluates the act of resignation of the chairman of PD in order to solve the problem, which has caused a deep disruption from the center to the base.
2. The parliamentary group calls on the suspended members of the DP group to provide the same mechanism for the withdrawal of Mr. Berisha, who should distance himself from the decision-making in the DP, becoming part of the solution to avoid disruption and to make possible unification of Democrats. We demand respect for the values and principles and statutes of the DP to avoid the consequences publicly declared by the US.
3. The parliamentary group expresses its readiness to negotiate with the suspended members of the parliamentary group to find an acceptable solution that leads to immediate termination to end the disruption and pave the way for unification. The group charges the responsible structures to request a mediation group to facilitate communication with a long-term and acceptable solution.
4. The parliamentary group estimates that after the realization of the agreement on the above points, the way is opened to the possibility of finding a consensual mechanism in consultation with other institutions of the party with the main function.
A-Undertaking a grassroots awareness campaign aimed at uniting Democrats;
B-Preparing the party for local elections and reorganizing the party at the grassroots. (So base elections and campaigns);
