The Kremlin has reacted today to calls by US President Joe Biden for a war crimes trial against Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying personal insults are unacceptable and shameful.
Biden has accused Putin of war crimes for atrocities allegedly committed by Russian forces in the Ukrainian city of Bucha.
“Personal insults to the President of Russia continue, and this is something very negative. “We consider this unacceptable and shameful of the President of the United States.”Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters at a news conference.
