The dispute between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp continues to be dealt with again in court, where both sides have leveled strong accusations against each other.
Mostly the violence that both parties claim has been exercised, is shown in two different versions.
Johnny Depp has sued Heard for defamation, where he spoke of using Depp’s substances, the 2015 brawl in Australia that left Depp with a severed finger, the first time Heard physically attacked Depp, and rumors that Depp once pushed his ex-girlfriend Kate down a flight of stairs.
Depp has sued Heard for $ 50 million in connection with her 2018 Washington Post article showing her experiences as a survivor of domestic violence. Although Heard never mentioned Depp by name, his lawyers claim that the references to him are clear and that this has damaged his career and reputation. Heard has filed a $ 100 million counterclaim, claiming that Depp and his lawyers slandered her for referring to her allegations of abuse.
She filed for divorce from Depp, receiving a restraining order for domestic violence against the actor and accusing him of physical and verbal abuse against her while he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Depp has denied such allegations and accused Heard of abusing him.
Some of the key moments of Heard’s testimony:
During the trial, photos and audio recordings of the alleged drunken Depp were captured by Heard, who presented them as evidence. Heard said she recorded such moments because he would not remember the moment.
“He would not remember it, or he would deny it. “There was no one to support me, so I started taking pictures to say, ‘Look, this is happening.'” tha Heard.
She said Depp had a team of aides who would not intervene during the altercation, including violence on a private jet.
“I felt these boots on my back. I fell to the floor, no one said anything. Nobody did anything. You could have heard a fallen needle. “I remember feeling very embarrassed.” she said.
The actor denied these allegations claiming the opposite, where according to him it was Heard who started the debate forcing him to hide in the bathroom.
Heard testified about drug and alcohol use by Depp, including one special time when he was sick from the large amount he had consumed.
“He was very angry with me. He slapped me in the face, but made me cry. It was the strangest thing. He cried [dhe] said that no woman had ever shamed him like that. No woman had ever made him feel that way. I heard this during the rest of the trip, in repetition. I felt bad. “I still feel bad.” she said.
The actress said that Depp has created problems because of the work she was doing, at the same time she suspected that she was betraying him. Heard said he interfered in the selection of film projects she had.
“It was difficult for me to work, to justify the work. “Every audition, every meeting, every scenario I got was a negotiation or a quarrel.”said the actress.
She also reported several cases of physical, verbal and sexual abuse, accusing Depp of punching her, slamming her against the wall, pulling out her hair and threatening to “carve” her face.
“I remember he threw a bottle at me, lost me and hit the chandelier. At one point he just hit me in the face. I was not sure what that feeling was, but I suspected I had a broken nose. I remember my nose is swollen and bleached “she further added.
Some photos of Heard’s bruised face and haircuts were allegedly presented as evidence. She has shown another moment where Depp has written in blood in different places.
“Depp wrote on the back of a bloody pillow, he wrote on the walls coming down,” said Heard, as photos of blood-stained furniture and a cluttered house were presented.
She has accused that the actor also threw down the stairs his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss, after a quarrel in their house.
