A blood family in Shkodër has been sheltered in one of the city’s dormitories because of the blood.
The police and the municipality have found a solution to put the family in a state building. Where the first institution, the police, will be responsible for security and the second, the municipality, for housing. So for the state, everything is fine. They claim that they have found an emergency solution, but they do not know how to act further. But not only that, in the dormitory where the family is sheltered, nothing is safe, anyone can enter and leave without being stopped by anyone. So the safety for them is zero, but not only that, they are left to the mercy of fate in a dormitory room, where they are not even allowed to cook.
The lady of the family goes out begging to support her husband and son who are stranded. Meanwhile, the person who committed the crime, killing two brothers, is serving his sentence in Burrel prison.
The woman of the family tells about the Fiks journalists who stayed in France for 9 years after the crime. While they have blood in the village, and for security reasons they have brought them here to the dormitory.
She also confesses that they have been staying in the dormitory for 2 weeks, but they feel unsafe and without any help from the state. “When I go out to beg,” says the lady, “I put a big scarf on my head so I don’t get recognized because I’m afraid of blood.”
“The whole family keeps their breath alive with the money I beg,” the wife of the family confesses. He also says that the police do not stay in the dormitory where they are sheltered and anyone can enter.
“I’m afraid for the boy” says the lady with tears in her eyes, asking for Fiksi’s help. Fiks reporters go to meet the director of the dormitory, Arban Lutfia.
He says that the police put this family in the dormitory only for 5 days, but they are still leaving them here. I don’t know what to do since the police are responsible for security and it’s not my responsibility, says the dormitory director.
Fiks journalists go to Shkodër Municipality. The vice president says that there have never been such cases, as far as the trapped family is concerned, the police asked them to take shelter somewhere and that they would protect them. The only solution was the dormitory and they put the family there. But after the interest of Fiksi, the president promises that everyone will meet to find another solution.
Journalists ask the president if there is an emergency fund for such cases, since this family has nothing to live on. The vice president affirms that they will also discuss this matter in the next meeting.
Meanwhile, the Shkodër Police Station, in an answer to Fiksi, accepts the phenomenon of blood feud, but not only that, it also undertakes to interpret the actions of the family that killed two people, saying that they have no tendency to take revenge.
