A bomb threat has alarmed Pristina airport this afternoon.
The passengers and staff were evacuated, while the emergency plan teams arrived at the scene, where after the search they confirmed that the alarm is false. After that, the flights returned to the airport.
In recent weeks, Kosovo police have received several reports of bombings in schools and other state institutions. After the verifications, all the false alarms resulted.
Only this Wednesday, bomb alerts were issued for several schools in the four northern municipalities, Leposavic, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and North Mitrovica. The information about the bomb came through the official email addresses of these schools, while the population in these areas is mainly Serb. All students were evacuated from these facilities, but it was later confirmed that there were no bombs or other explosives.
