The French defender, Samuel Umtiti, has his hours numbered in Barcelona, but it seems that his departure is taking too long.
According to SuperSport, the 28-year-old was very close to moving to Ligue 1, Rennes, with the parties agreeing on the terms of the deal, but in the end everything failed.
This is because Umtiti has not successfully passed the medical tests and the French have withdrawn from his card, causing “riots” in the environment of the Catalans.
The former defender of Lyon must now think of another alternative, as they have made it clear to him in Barcelona that there is no longer a place for him.
