Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe addressed the opposition in high tones today in the Assembly, saying that he is doing propaganda and intimidating the citizens over the situation in which we are.
He said that all countries are going through times of crisis and there are even worse than us. Brace reminded the opposition that at the time they were in power it was not such a difficult time, and yet no development took place.
“We leave politics, but how is it possible that since 2013, the one who is not in this room and you, continue with the same propaganda, with the propaganda of fear. Then the banks will fall, I do not know if you have money for pensions, but how is it possible that you never talk to people about what is good but pierce them to the core for fear. Everyone is in a crisis situation and under inflation pressure. Albania has gone through difficult situations in your time but they are not compared to this.
You did nothing when you were in power. You did not increase any economic aid, because we would have found it grown. There are two situations that, if we compare them, make us day and night. We are not doing what you did, knocking on the doors of banks to get loans. The roads that end are not the interest of a government but the interest of citizens who benefit from public works. The whole process needs more transparency. It is a process, it must be detailed and made concrete for everyone.
“We need jobs and workers because we are competing very badly from European countries, but for our luck to have their policies are a step ahead of us,” said Brace.
