A 32-year-old man has been handcuffed on charges of smuggled goods, as part of Operation Brands.
During the control exercised in the van type “Benz”, driven by the 32-year-old with the initials FZ, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, items of different brands (clothes and shoes), new car parts and household appliances, which this citizen had not declared to the customs authorities.
The 32-year-old faces three criminal charges, “Smuggling of licensed goods”, “Smuggling of other goods” and “Trade and transportation of smuggled goods”.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Durrës Judicial District Court, for further action.
