The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçi., Gave an interview to the Serbian media where he spoke about various issues, including the burning of the Serbian flag during his visit to Tirana within the “Open Balkan” initiative.
According to Vucic, burning other flags is an uncivilized act, asking not to be forced to talk about what pressure Rama is on for this event.
“It is uncivilized to burn the flags of others. We have good relations with Albania. Let me not tell you what pressure Rama is on for this. I want us to push each other for this initiative. It is the largest peace project the Balkans has ever worked on. And I believe that the Open Balkans can be a machine for the growth and development of all of Europe. “The open Balkans is our struggle to have the right to have a future that we decide for ourselves.” said Vucic.
We recall that during Vuçiç’s visit to Tirana, Sali Berisha called for a protest and his supporters managed to climb the pillars to take the Serbian flags and set them on fire to show that they are against Serbia and against the Open Balkans initiative.
