Cameroon is the first team to qualify for the semifinals of the African Cup of Nations.
The “Unstoppable Lions” won 2-0 against Gambia thanks to two goals by Karl Toko Ekambi. The first half ended in a goalless draw.
Cameroon shifted in the second fraction of the challenge and found the lead in the 50th minute.
Ekambi scored a beautiful header. The 29-year-old did not stop and seven minutes later scored another goal, sealing Cameroon’s qualification.
The other three quarter-final matches of the African Cup of Nations are Burkina Faso-Tunisia, Egypt-Morocco and Senegal-Equatorial Guinea.
