Today is the day without cars in Tirana and in some major cities of the country. A few days ago, the government announced that starting from April 3, “the first Sunday of each month will be the beginning of CAR-DAYless days in the main cities of each county”, an initiative to save fuel.
Traffic will be restricted from 09:00 to 15:00 today.
The roads where the circulation of vehicles in Tirana will be limited are:
-Bulevardi “Dëshmorët e Kombit” from the Ministry of Interior until the beginning of “Ish- Hotel Dajti”.
– Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit” from the Bridge of “former Hotel Dajti” to the intersection with the street “Ismail Qemali”.
– The segment of the street “Myslym Shyri” from the intersection of the High Court towards the Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”.
The traffic of vehicles, emergency vehicles and the State Police will be done according to the movement plan below:
– Emergency vehicles, State Police, Urban Urban Public Service and Taxi 4 + 1 will be available at all times in the segments defined in point 1 of this decision.
– For all other vehicles the access will be to the streets Ibrahim Rugova, Blv. Zhan D’Ark. Blv.Bajram Curri and George.W.Bush.
Traffic at the intersection of “Myslym Shyri” street with “Ibrahim Rugova” street will be forced to the right.

The axis of the roundabout “Ypsiloni” – the roundabout “Gorica Bridge” and “Osumi Promenade” will be closed.
The pedestrian area of the city will be filled with sports activities (if we do not have problems with the weather).

These days, from 08:00 to 16:00, some of the main roads of the city will be restricted to vehicles, with the exception of emergency vehicles (ambulance, fire brigade, State Police).
The ways in which this restriction will be applied are;
• “Kastriot Muço” Street – from the intersection with “Mujo Ulqinaku” Street to “Mother Teresa” Square.
• “Rauf Nallbani” Street – from “Mother Teresa” Square to the intersection with “Jakov Milaj” Street
• “Ramiz Aranitasi” Boulevard – from the intersection with “Vasil Peçuke” Street to Europa Square.
• “Jakov Xoxa” Boulevard – from Europa Square to the Sharra roundabout
• Dervish Hekali Street – from the intersection with “Mujo Ulqinaku” Street to “Mother Teresa” Square.
Durres:
“Dyrrah” Boulevard – “Grigor Durrsaku” Street
“Aleksandër Goga” Street from the Martyrs’ Mausoleum – “Epidamn” Boulevard to the Venetian Tower.
Korce:
Vehicle traffic will be prohibited on Blvd. “Republika” and Blvd. “Rilindasit” from 09:00 to 19:00.
Lezha:
“Gjergj Fishta” Boulevard from the martyrs’ cemetery to the roundabout of “Besëlidhja” square;
“Luigj Gurakuqi” Street, from the Mosque to the main Crossroads in the city of Lezha.
Debar:
The inner roads of the city of Peshkopi will be limited for the movement of private vehicles from 8:00 to 16:00
Lushnje:
