Kosovo has registered 341 new cases of coronavirus on July 6, which represents an increase in cases compared to the previous day, when health authorities reported 213 new infections.
The new cases appear after testing 1,165 samples, which means that 29.27 percent of people have tested positive.
In the previous 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health, 64 people recovered, while there were no deaths.
Kosovo has recently been facing an increase in cases of the disease COVID-19, which has prompted the authorities to call for caution.
The National Institute of Public Health on July 6 again called on citizens to wear masks indoors and get vaccinated.
In Kosovo, more than 1.8 million doses of the vaccine have been administered so far. Of this figure, 103,344 people received three doses, 823,818 were immunized with two doses, while 903,523 people were immunized with one dose.
Since March 2020, when the first cases were registered in the country, until July 6, 2022, Kosovo has registered 230,054 cases of coronavirus and 3,140 deaths.
