Residents of Lapraka and Paskuqan gathered again in protest at the Albanian Road Authority to protest the Great Ring Road project.
They claim that there is a deviation in the project, which increases the number of apartments that will be demolished.
The protesters demanded answers about the treatment that will be given to the residents, whose apartments are illegal.
“ARA was given a short answer, legalized apartments will be treated with a reference price for the last three months, for apartments without legalization are still in question that there is no DCM how will be treated these apartments that are marked to be demolished,” says the protester.
Residents say their apartments have been held hostage by the Cadastre for 17 years and have not been legalized.
“The ARA project to the cadastre was sent on July 13, 2021 and why the apartment was not legalized until July 12, 2021, one day before the project was registered in the cadastre and continued implementation in the field”, expresses another.
Therefore, they requested a meeting with the General Director of Cadastre, Artan Lame.
After the meeting that lasted about an hour, that was the answer they received.
“Mr. Lame said “Some projects have come to me and they have come to me as if they were putting a pistol in my head when one project came and another project, deviate from here, deviate from there and I had a lot of problems, so it has nothing to do with the project, Mr. Lame”, said one resident.
Earlier, the Ministry of Infrastructure said that the Great Ring Road project has no diversion and that none of the affected residents will be left on the road.
