Rama: Of course I do not believe that Albanians will never find it excessive to repeat the expression of gratitude for the EU support in the most difficult moments because they are moments that have marked very important points and on the other hand I want to emphasize that we feel very proud that part of the common front that is a front of good against evil given Ukraine. We talked about the general situation, the commitments and challenges for Ukraine, we talked about the ongoing process of the EC where it is known that Albania and Northern Macedonia are trying to open membership negotiations and reforms in our country starting from the justice reform that is bearing fruitful.
EC President Charles Michel: Thank you for the hospitality it is a pleasure to be back here. Many things have changed since the last visit but one thing will never change, our full commitment to Albania’s EU integration. Thank you for your support in the global arena for Ukraine. You have been a reliable EC partner for us. Albania is part of the European family and we must give new energy to Albania’s EU integration. We are working to deliver tangible results and we are accelerating integration. In June we will have a meeting, Albania has met all the conditions for the opening of membership negotiations.
