In his statement, the owner said: “As I have done before, I have made decisions with the main interest of the club. “In the current situation I have decided to sell it, as I believe it is in the best interest of the club, the fans, the employees, the sponsors and the partners.”
He added: “I have also ordered the creation of a charity foundation so that the net profits from the sale can be donated.”
“The beneficiaries of the donations will be the victims of the war in Ukraine,” Abramovic said in a statement.
