An unexplained pollution has been going on for two days in the Drin River, where as a result many dead fish are along its entire length.
Environmental inspectors have come to the field but have not yet taken any water samples to analyze and verify the causes of this pollution and on the other hand so far no measures have been taken to clean the Drin River.
The first suspicions about the death of the fish were the illegal fishing with electricity by the fishermen of the area, but in fact the images show an environmental crime caused by many factors, starting from businesses, which operate in this area or various institutions, who discharge sewage into the Drin River.
Gjergj Elezi, head of IKMT Lezha, says that they still do not have a concrete answer to the pollution as they were informed about the situation late, and on the other hand asked the National Environment Agency to monitor the situation to determine this pollution, and then take measures by the Environmental Protection Inspectorate.
Residents who live near this area are those who suffer the consequences of this environmental catastrophe, which for years continues to have no final solution.
