New cases have been on the rise recently in China. Authorities say 80 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected.
In the announcement published by the National Health Commission of China, it is confirmed that 74 cases have been registered in Xinxiang province in the east of the country. In addition, five cases of local origin were detected in the northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and one in Shaanxi Province.
In the territory of China, where the first cases of COVID-19 were registered, to date 99,780 cases have been detected, while 4,636 people have lost their lives.
