A gun incident was recorded around 20.05 on Friday evening in the center of Athens.
According to the Greek police, three people had a banal quarrel between them in the place called “Attiki Square”, where an Albanian ended up injured.
Initially the parties clashed verbally and then one of them pulled out a pistol and shot him in the leg.
In a panic, the perpetrators boarded a taxi and, after traveling about 1 km, abandoned it outside the central train station in Athens, leaving behind the weapon of the crime.
He was taken to hospital out of danger for life, while dozens of law enforcement arrived within minutes at the scene.
It is suspected that the quarrel between the parties was over broken drug deals, as he has been arrested several times for crimes related to drug trafficking and theft.
Numerous police forces launched an operation to find the perpetrators in the streets of the neighborhood, but until late in the evening it was not possible to arrest the perpetrators.
