If until today, 80 lek are enough for a coffee, with the increase of prices that has included the country, we will have to pay more for coffee.
“From January 1, all prices of raw materials have increased, coffee, water everything. It is a situation where the final consumer has no money to spend. “Now they think more than once to get out”, he says the head of the association of bars and restaurants, Enri Jahaj.
The Association of Bars and Restaurants warns that the price will increase up to 1 euro.
“On average, a coffee is 70-80 cents here in our country, while in the countries of the region it is at 1 euro. We are still down. I think that with the dignity that we claim to be given to the employees of the service, I think that the price should be higher “.
If prices do not rise, says the association, then the premises will go towards closure.
“There is a decrease not only in the clientele but also in the mentality, they tend to consume less. There is uncertainty on the horizon that war is, people are prone to consume less. The increase in the price of raw materials has not been reflected yet, but there will come a moment when we will close the business or increase the prices “.
