According to the preliminary results of the local government elections in Ulcinj, the pre-election coalition, “New Beginning”, the Democratic Party and the Albanian Alternative and three other parties, among them the Civic Movement “URA” of the mandator for the formation of the government of Montenegro’s Dritan Abazovic won 15 seats in the Ulcinj Assembly.
The coalition of two Albanian political forces, the Democratic Union of Albanians and the Democratic League, won 5 seats, the New Democratic Force, which came out alone in this election won 5 seats, the coalition of President Milo Djukanovic’s Democratic Socialist Party with the Bosniak Party, 5 seats and the party of the Montenegrin political spectrum, the Democrats, won 2 seats.
A total of 5 voter lists participated in Sunday’s elections in the Albanian-majority municipality of Ulcinj.
