COVID19 / Ministry of Health: 2443 tests, 173 infected citizens, 2 loss of life and 408 cured in the last 24 hours
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to all citizens vaccinated with two doses, to go to health centers or concentrated vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third boosting dose, according to the recommendation of the family doctor.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 2443 tests were performed, of which 173 citizens tested positive for COVID19, in the following municipalities:
75 citizens in Tirana, from 13 citizens in Fier, Gjirokastra, 11 in Saranda, 9 in Durres, from 6 citizens in Vlora, Berat, 4 in Rrogozhina, from 3 citizens in Mirdita, Gramsh, from 2 citizens in Elbasan, Skrapar, Maliq , Mallakastër, Lushnje, Patos, Kamëz, Kukës, Shkodër, by 1 citizen in Malësi e Madhe, Fushë Arrëz, Has, Tropojë, Lezhë, Dibër, Roskovec, Divjakë, Himarë, Delvinë, Konispol, Memaliaj,
There are 3159 active patients with COVID19 nationwide.
Currently in COVID hospitals 66 patients are receiving treatment, of which 10 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there are two loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive: two citizens from Tirana aged 71-79.
408 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 264,695 since the beginning of the epidemic.
