The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to citizens who have passed 6 months from the second dose of vaccine, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
The Ministry of Health reminds the citizens that the observance of anti-covid protocols is a necessity for the protection of health.
Mask placement is mandatory in any enclosed environment. Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 4996 tests were performed, of which 793 citizens tested positive with COVID19, in the following municipalities:
493 in Tirana, 37 in Gjirokastra, 36 in Durrës, 31 in Vlora, 18 in Saranda, 16 in Lushnje, 14 in Kruja, out of 11 citizens in Gramsh, Kavaja, 10 in Kuçova, 9 in Kurbin, out of 8 citizens in Kamza, Dibër, 7 in Mallakastër, from 6 citizens in Skrapar, Devoll, Delvinë, from 5 citizens in Shkodër, Lezhë, Himarë, Këlcyrë, from 4 citizens in Prrenjas, Peqin, Tepelena, Përmet, from 3 citizens in Patos, Divjakë, Pogradec, from 2 citizens in Berat, Korça, Selenica, Fier, Vora, Shijak, Has, Kukës, from 1 citizen in Tropojë, Mirditë, Rrogozhinë, Kolonjë, Poliçan.
There are 13,786 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently in COVID hospitals are receiving treatment 129 patients, of whom 15 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there is a loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive: a 77-year-old citizen from Tirana.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
346 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 203,460 since the beginning of the epidemic.
