Former chairman of the politically persecuted and the “Road to Freedom” party, Kurt Kola passed away this Saturday at the age of 85 after serious complications caused by Covid-19. The news of his death was given by his son, Bilal Kola, who succeeded his father in his mission for the integration of the politically persecuted.

After a battle for about a month with Covid-19, he emerged triumphant defeating Covid against all odds. He had been on dialysis for about 2 months, his aorta was enlarged, he suffered a leg thrombosis from Covid. About a month after Covid passed away, 10 days ago he suffered a severe complication in his lung, which resulted in a fatal stroke.
It is almost a unifying rule that ordinary people naturally tend two processes in life: 1. Minimize pain. 2. Maximize pleasures. Extraordinary people, thanks to their exalted conscience, make an exception to this rule. They always consciously choose to do the right thing, even though it may cause them pain!

Kurt Kola was only 8 years old when he started the long ordeal in internment camps and prisons.
