There are 17,236 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 128 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 23 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there are nine lives lost with SARS-COV2 positive: A citizen from Puka 49 years old, three citizens from Fier 58-85 years old, three citizens from Tirana 61-79 years old, a citizen from Durrës 73 years old, a citizen from Berat 80 years old.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
1,987 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 240,642 since the beginning of the epidemic.
