A woman in Durrës managed to escape the assassination of the person she was living with, after the police intervention in the apartment, last night.
Police report that after receiving notification from a citizen who was traumatized and asked for help because she was threatening to kill her cohabitant, they went to the apartment and prevented domestic crime.
The suspect, 32-year-old with initials LD, born in Burrel and resident in Durrës, has previously been convicted of the criminal offense “Premeditated murder due to family relations”, attempted and “Illegal possession of weapons.”
After the controls, the officers also arrested the brother of the suspected perpetrator, the 35-year-old with the initials AK, who was also carrying an illegal weapon, while he declared two persons wanted, with whom the 32-year-old shared an apartment in the capital, in which were found and seized an automatic firearm, with comb and cartridges and a pistol with cartridges. “Citizens ML and EH, were declared wanted as suspects for committing the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons,” police said.
In total, 2 Kalashnikov firearms, 2 pistol firearms, ammunition and 2 vehicles were seized.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Durrës Court of First Instance for further prosecution.
