The competitions of the Cup of Albania for Cycling “Korça 2022” are closed.
For the cadets, after a strong rivalry until the last meters, Kosta Vortollomi of Skënderbeu was declared the winner, leaving Tirana cyclists Emil Priftaj and Erdi Pilku in second and third place.
The Junior race was also quite strong as three cyclists raced together until the last kilometer. Three kilometers before the finish line, Teuta’s cyclist Henri Hysa overtook the other two cyclists, Flavio Venomi from Vllaznia and Antonio Kolari, a student.
Even the Elite competition for 23-year-olds has been highly competitive. After 2 hours 20 minutes and 02 seconds, the cyclist of Apollonia, Marolino Hoxha, touched the finish line first.
The president of the AFC Skender Hanxhaku said that the cyclists are preparing for European and world competitions.
In the two stages of the Cup of Albania, the low number of participating cyclists was noticeable.
