Tributes are paid in front of the Police Directorate in honor of the 31-year-old Ilvi Meta who lost his life in the detention of the Kavaja police station.
The incident happened three days ago when Meta was found dead in the detention facility where he was being held arrested for theft.
Blendi Himci, chairman of the Democratic Party of Elbasan, told the media: This is a state murder in an environment where one should feel safer. The arrogance of this power has reached its peak. We demand transparency of the investigation. The death of a young man at the police station terrifies us all as citizens.
