Erling Haaland’s future is tied to Spain. Real Madrid and Barcelona are competing with each other for the Dortmund star, one of the best and most talented goal scorers in European football.
The 21-year-old Norwegian (76 goals and 20 assists in 75 Bundesliga games) confirmed his desire to transfer to La Liga during a conversation with fans, while at the end of the season his card will cost 75 million euros according to the clause with the German club.
Marca writes that the yellows have made it clear to the attacker that he has to make a decision for the future by January 31st. Haaland will end the season at Signal Iduna Park with many opportunities to leave in the summer for the Spanish championship. Real Madrid and Barcelona have started talks with Mino Raiola, the player’s agent.
“Los Blancos” are somewhat more advantageous at the moment, thanks to the better economic situation than the Catalans. However, Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, has promised significant blows in the market and Haaland is the main target for the top of Xavi’s team’s attack.
