A 34-year-old man was arrested, seven others were placed under investigation and one was declared wanted for drug distribution and gambling in Kukës.
A citizen declared wanted is arrested and detained in the framework of the police operation codenamed “Vila”. Following the police operation codenamed “Villa”, conducted on 16.10.2021, to crack down on criminal activity in the field of distribution of narcotics and illegal gambling, as a result of which 1 citizen was arrested, 7 citizens were prosecuted at large and 1 other citizen was declared wanted, the Local Police Directorate of Kukës, in cooperation with DVP Tirana, made it possible to locate and apprehend the wanted citizen: FE, 34 years old, resident in Tirana ”, according to police.
The Court of First Instance of Kukës has assigned him the security measure “Prison arrest”, for the criminal offenses “Adaptation of the premises for drug use”, “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Organization of illegal lotteries” and “Placing in availability of the premises for illegal games ”.
The materials were forwarded to the Kukës Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
