The Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama, in the weekly press conference “Economy in Focus” said that this will be the last conference of this mandate.
“Welcome to this weekly forum, which is also the last of this mandate and at the end to close this cycle we have left one of the most important aspects of the transformation that has taken place in these years, which is the digital revolution, through whose step by step a process of radical transformation of the state relations with the citizens is taking place.
The foundations of a secure anti-corruption system are being laid in the services for the citizens and the imminent prospect of Albania moving to another level in terms of the internal functioning of the state and the functioning of the most important reason, transparent, efficient relationship with citizens.
Imagine that the pandemic had found you at a time when we did not have online services, how could we guarantee the complete closure of citizens a year ago. Of the 14 services that were when we started this revolution, we already have more than 1.2 thousand online services.
“4 million euros have been saved from the citizens, without counting the savings of tips and bribes that this system completely annihilates”, Rama said.
