All families with children in school will be able to be tested for coronavirus twice a week
Testing is included in the plans to reopen schools in full security in England, starting March 8th.
Free tests will be offered to students and their families, including kindergarten children, whether they have symptoms or not. The decision was announced on Sunday by the British government. Rapid tests will be ordered and can be taken at local centers or can be administered as part of job testing programs.
High school students will be tested twice a week. Families with adolescent children who do not study are not included in the plans. Twice-weekly tests will also be offered to adults working in schools, such as bus drivers and after-school center managers.
