Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during his speech while waiting for the talks between Russia and Ukraine, stressed that the break between the meetings between the two countries has lasted a long time and there should not be such a long time interval without talks.
He further added that a peace between the two countries will have no losers and that the continuation of the conflict does not benefit anyone.
“At such a critical moment, we are pleased to welcome you and to contribute to your efforts to establish peace. I wish our meetings and discussions to be favorable to your countries, our region and all of humanity.” said Erdogan.
He has called for an immediate ceasefire and says stopping the tragedy depends on both sides.
