Christian Eriksen has revealed that he has already received offers before the start of the summer transfer window and among the teams which are mentioned as the next destination for the Dane are Manchester United and Tottenham.
The midfielder has had a very positive performance in the Premier League since returning to the green and English Premier League in January. Eriksen joined Brentford on a short-term deal in January after spending more than half a year on leave following a heart attack at Euro 2020.
The 30-year-old had his contract with Inter terminated in December due to not being allowed to play in Serie A with a defibrillator in his heart. After training again in Denmark with one of his former clubs, he returned to England and has since surprised everyone with the good form he has displayed.
Eriksen has played a crucial role in Brentford’s performance, however he has a contract with the club in question until the end of this season, after which he will be a free agent.
Brentford coach Thomas Frank wants to keep Eriksen for next season, but it looks like they will have to make a pretty good offer to the player, as there are already a few other clubs that would like to have the services of Danish.
Manchester United are among the clubs that are said to be interested in looking for new midfielders, while a return to Tottenham has been announced, where Eriksen would find the coach he had at Inter and with whom they won the Serie A title, Antonio Conte. -n.
Meanwhile the midfielder has broken the silence and talked about the future, confirming that the clubs have already contacted him.
“I have different offers and options, which we are reviewing and then we will make a decision,” Eriksen told Viaplay./ supersport
