The Minister of European Affairs of France, Clement Beaune, stated today that the European Union can most likely approve a new round of sanctions against Russia tomorrow.
He mentioned in his statement that these sanctions will affect gas and coal imports from Russia.
“New sanctions will probably be adopted tomorrow. The EU must also act quickly on gas and coal imports from Russia.” said Clement Beaune.
Russia has denied any wrongdoing in connection with the killing of civilians, including in Bucha. Its envoy to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, says Russia will present “empirical evidence” to the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday showing that its forces were not involved in the atrocities.
