PDIU MP in Dibër district Reme Lala, who agreed to run in the April 25 elections under the SP logo, has resigned.
Sources from the Socialist Party told Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu that Reme Lala submitted his resignation at the pink headquarters on Friday morning.
At the moment, the motives written in the resignation letter by Reme Lala remain unclear.
The SP had assigned him to compete in the Kamza and Paskuqan area.
Probably the moment she found out in what place she would be in the list of Tirana, Mrs. Lala preferred not to enter the race at all.
It is not yet known whether she will return to the candidacy in Debar under the logo of PDIU that made her MP in the 2017 elections. Contacted by Top Channel, Reme Lala did not make any comment to confirm or deny her resignation.
