An explosion with explosives in a moving car occurred at 02:50 in the morning, in the New Ring near Selita.
Top Channel has learned that the driver Mikel Harizaj 42 years old, was born in Selenica, Vlora and lives in Tirana, while the passenger Serini Dumi 26 years old was born in Berat resident in Tirana.
Mikel Harizaj is not an unknown name for the police, as he was arrested in 2009, after after a quarrel in Vlora he tried to kill 3 people with a grenade.
After a quarrel inside the bar, Harizaj went to the car and took a hand grenade with which he attacked citizens Ervis Alushi, Gentian Abazi and Edison Ademi.
One of them was seriously injured in the grenade blast, while the other two received minor injuries, while Harizaj was charged with the criminal offense of “attempted murder”.
