Meta company has offered new opportunities for its Facebook Messenger application.
The new options are dedicated to end-to-end, encrypted messages, although they are still an option unlike WhatsApp, which is also owned by Meta where encrypted end-to-end messages are a standard procedure, reports Telegrafi.
It is a big difference to keep in mind, as in the case of Messenger the user has to open the end-to-end menu to have an encrypted conversation, Telegrafi reports.
However, encryption is now not limited to one-on-one conversations, as encrypted group conversations and audio and video calls are also enabled. So it is now possible to connect with friends and family in a private and extremely secure way.
When it comes to messages in encrypted conversations, the user will be notified if the other party takes a screenshot. GIFs and stickers are also accessible in these conversations as well as feedback. / Telegraphy /
