Claydee is the singer of dozens of international hits, who with his talent has won millions of fans in the world.
Born in Albania and raised in Greece, he is one of the most internationally recognized Albanian artists with solo songs and collaborations that count billions of views on YouTube and other platforms.
This evening, invited to the twins on the show “Let me talk”, Claydee recalled the beginnings of his career and the difficult period in Greece, when he had to face racism.
“The beginning was difficult, like all people. Racism always exists, but it has a lot to do with family and you realize very quickly that all people are the same and you have the opportunity to show who you are with your work, with the things you do and you have to appreciate the spirit of people.
In Greece, it was difficult at first, but when the results and the work that you love and do with great passion create something successful, everyone wants success and that’s where racism ends, everyone loves you”.
Although he grew up in the Hellenic state, the artist speaks Albanian well, while emphasizing that we should not forget where we come from.
“The last two years I have started to speak Albanian, since I started coming to Albania, I have some Albanian friends. I try because it’s my language, it’s good not to forget where you started. You can’t understand how far you’ve gone if you deny where you’re from.”
