Farmers in Lushnja, Berat and Fier protested against the subsidy scheme. Together with the farmers, they gathered near the Kuçi bridge, blocking the national road.
At the head of them was Ervin Resuli, president of the association for consumer protection and local Albanian producers.
Protesters consider the support schemes a breach of trust because none of their demands were taken into account in the October protest.
According to them, the fund of schemes supports people who are close to the government, a large part of the budget allocated to farmers goes to the agricultural university and municipalities to build markets.
Livestock farmers are not supported by increasing the ceiling per head from 5 to 10 head of livestock. This scheme also supports the construction of new greenhouses while existing greenhouses are being abandoned. Oil can not be obtained from all those who have agricultural mechanics due to lack of papers for land ownership.
The protesters will not stop in the way of the protests which will continue after the local elections.
