Vaccination of people over 80 years of age has started in Fier. Persons over 80 years old have been identified, of which there are about 6 thousand, while the elderly 90+ are being vaccinated.
So far, based on the data received from family doctors, most of this age group have agreed to get the vaccine.
The process is performed in the premises of the polyclinic in Fier, approved by the Ministry of Health. Today alone, 200 seniors are scheduled to be vaccinated.
There are currently two vaccination posts, while the structures are ready to set up other vaccination sites, based on the influx of citizens.
The chief vaccinator says sufficient doses of the vaccine have been provided and there are no shortages.
