Fiorentina is one of the most active Italian clubs in the market. The club from Florence secured a ticket to the Conference League, renewed with coach Vincenzo Italiano and is very close to reaching a final agreement with Luka Jovic.
The Serbian striker of Real Madrid, will land in Serie A on loan, while his salary of 5 million euros per season will be paid half by both clubs. But not just Jovic, Fiorentina are aiming for another reinforcement from La Liga.
We are talking about Samuel Umtiti, long out of Barcelona’s plans. The French defender, who won the Russia 2018 World Cup with his national team, comes out as a free agent on July 1.
L’Equipe writes that the leaders of the Italian club have started working to reach an agreement with the 28-year-old agent, for whom clubs like Marseille or Nice are also interested, while last summer it was also attempted by Roma and Lazio./ Super SPORTS
