At dawn on March 8… difficult PD PD
If Sali Berisha does not leave, there is no need for Lulzim Basha to leave either.
Men, men, men… ah forgive me, that I ate a woman. There is a woman in all these panels, except the moderators, of course. Most of these men – with the exception of a few of them who are truly independent and some of whom still have a morale and a page before the Albanians – have become the most ardent speakers for months, they have not left a bullet arsenal without throwing on the leadership of the DP.
Not a word about the dirty President-Berisha agreement to bring the parts of the Democratic Party into conflict, a conflict that gave a diabolical smile only to Rama.
Not a word about the reasons for this low turnout of Albanians and the disgust of Albanians towards politics, even towards those who chew only politics on screens every night.
There are many democrats and citizens who lean to the right who did not vote on March 6 out of sadness over the current state of the DP, others who refused to vote for Berisha, others who do not trust Lulzim Basha. They will do the same in the upcoming elections we have next year.
I have heard in these months all kinds of labels for that part of the deputies and other political representatives in the DP, who are convinced that the Chief Negotiator of the rostrum, can not be the future of the DP.
There were from the other party (since we are now talking about the party), even among the re-founders who declared that this group’s supposedly bashist, are mobsters and servants of Edi Rama.
I do not undertake here to talk about Lulzim Basha (if it serves Edi Rama, because I do not have so much knowledge or facts about it, those who talk all day about it, let them take courage and do it); I speak for myself that I am as much associated with the mafia as I am with the moon, and that in my resume I have a consistent opposition battle to the current government and its leader. Written in black on white.
Yesterday is a sad day for any Democrat and the Democrat who thinks he has won is just a cheeky. Yes, fortunately in Shkodra a democrat has won, and he has won for the good of Shkodra and not Sali Berisha, as they are selling him.
The fact that we all together, including the SMI, and a few others, do not go beyond the blue, means that we are all lost. But those who invented this clash on the sole condition of annihilating Lulzim Basha look very happy today. With or without Lulzim Basha, with or without Sali Berisha, the DP is today in its darkest day.
And the blame for this situation lies with both leaders, and even, in my opinion, the biggest fault lies with Sali Berisha:
Because Lulzim Basha is his product, which, when he had to sell it to us for a “good man” and when he did not have to sell it to us for a “bad man”;
Because with the care for the cult of his individual and then of his benjamin, he has left nothing wet to grow and develop in the PD, and today we have the opportunity to choose a leader that all parties love;
Because, for ego and personal anger, he did for months the whole heaviest schism to the PD, a rupture that was clearly seen in the March 6 elections;
Because, with the desire for his return to the helm of the PD, he will make the last turn of the knife on the wound that has befallen us;
Because, if he leads the process of reforming the DP, as he claims, he will put another puppet in charge of it and the DP will start recycling itself;
Because, with his vocabulary during the lecterns, he brought back the spirit of denigration, insults, verbal violence, annihilation of those who think differently, vocabulary that was basically translated into the most extreme form possible and sowing a murderous animosity among Democrats;
Because, in the initiating group for the re-establishment of the DP, there are discredited figures, former ministers known as thieves with stigma, for whose fault and some like many of them, the DP lost deeply in 2013, from still has not recovered;
Because, some of them and some others around them, started an open media campaign, a torn campaign on social networks, and a silent campaign in all forms insulting, threatening, hurting and mistreating figures who did not have belief in this movement, a very normal thing in a democracy. Thus, by initiating this spirit and extending it to the base, they deepened the gap started.
You will rightly say: is Lulzim Basha to blame for all this? Should he resign?
Yes, Lulzim Basha’s half of the blame for the crisis in which the DP is today. This schism is also his responsibility. I did not agree for Lulzim Basha to resign immediately after the April 25 elections, because we all know what elections they were. In Elbasan alone, over 45,000 votes were bought from the cooperation of the state gang with criminal gangs. We are with an informal government, with a parliament that is informally in the majority. The cause of the March 6 by-elections is a very ridiculous reason for Lulzim Basha to resign, for reasons we all know what elections were and the reasons I explained above.
However, in the conditions created within the PD and the destruction of ties with the base, the reformatting of the PD structures at the base, which are in flux and the loss of its popularity among Democrats and Albanians with a right-wing vocation , he must resign. The decisions are his and quite personal.
But there is only one condition to do this: to withdraw both, Lulzim Basha, Sali Berisha and the DP to pave the way for real elections and its return to a united opposition force.
Can these two do that? Do they love the DP more than themselves?
Let them answer this question with their conscience, why not with high acts of political responsibility themselves. After all, here men are separated from state men.
If Sali Berisha does not leave, there is no reason for Lulzim Basha to leave.
I will start from myself, to get rid of the sadness that has occupied me when I see our common house – PD – in this condition:
I resign from my positions in the party (member of the presidency and Chairwoman of the Appeals and Integrity Commission), as I have not exercised anyone, nor am I a man with a visible political stature, but I also want the Opposition to come to the rails of its rapid reform, to return to the only hope of the Albanians to escape from the Putinist regime where Albania is being driven.
I am an MP who can hardly stay in political office and I will serve on that front where the word makes room for me and the shadow makes me weight and will not give part of the parts of the DP, but a deputy of the united PD.
