A video of a Russian military helicopter crashed during the fighting at Hostomel Airport, near Kiev, has been verified by the BBC, but the source of the video is unknown.
Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Valerii Zaluzhnyi has confirmed that the army is fighting Russian forces for control of the airport in the Kiev region, reports the Reuters news agency.
Hostomel is the most important international cargo airport in Ukraine, as well as a major military air base.
