The vaccine against Covid 19, turned into a major issue for Novak Djokovic with the tennis player who was not allowed to participate in the Australian Open tournament.
Australia, as a country with strict rules regarding the issue of vaccination, after a long ordeal managed to remove the Serbian tennis player from the country with a court decision, who was forced to see from the screen the triumph of his biggest rival, Rafael Nadal.
Lastly, former world number one in tennis, Marcelo Rios, spoke about the absence of the Serb in the Australian Open. The Chilean stressed that to miss a tour for the reason of the vaccine then falls to be the biggest fool in the world.
“POn the issue of the vaccine, I too had my objections at first, but since I had to travel I realized it was something that had to be done. I do not know the reason why Djokovic refused to be vaccinated, but if you want to be the best in the history of this sport and then lose a tournament for the vaccine, then you have to be the king of fools. Now Djokovic is becoming very arrogant“, Said Rios./ Supersport
