The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, has stated that they are preparing that next year or at least until the end of this mandate, to submit the application for Kosovo’s membership in the EU, as they can meet the required criteria.
Gervalla said that in every meeting they have with international representatives, they receive compliments for the fight against corruption and organized crime, while regarding the agreement between Kosovo and Denmark for prisoners, he said that this is a sign of progress that Kosovo has made in this field.
“The agreement between Kosovo and Serbia is close and far. At the moment we do not expect any development until the elections in Serbia are over. Vuiqiiq will use Kosovo and will sharpen the language even more. We are also witnesses to Vulin’s statements which are very chauvinistic. “We are going to a prepared dialogue, Prime Minister Kurti is the only one who has proposed 4 issues and we expect the mediator to be even more serious”, she said on Channel 10.
According to her, the US and EU partner countries, regarding the Serbs in Kosovo, say that a suitable solution must be found for both Kosovo and Serbia.
