Atalanta is in an emergency in the attack, as the two Colombians, Muriel and Zapata are injured, while against Olympiacos it was the Albanian defender Berat Gjimshiti who made the bomber, scoring twice in the 2-1 victory.
Gjimshiti did not hide his satisfaction for the goals scored, as he humorously said that he should probably consider activating in the attack, in the next matches.
“After two goals today, I have to think about activating as a striker, as Muriel and Zapata are injured. Beyond the jokes, I hope they come back to us as soon as possible, as they are very important to us. In the first half we made some mistakes, which we corrected in the second and I am very happy that my goals served for the victory of the team “, declared Gjimshiti.
Even coach Gasperini did not spare compliments for the red and black defender, but admitted that the situation in the attack is urgent.
“In November we missed all the defenders, and now the attackers. Today it was Pasalic’s turn, while in the future Gjimshiti could play, or even an attacking goalkeeper, as we are in an emergency. “I am very pleased with the victory and happy for Gjimshit’s goals, because he deserved an evening like this”, said the coach.
