The United States of America has welcomed Great Britain’s decision to sanction Albanian citizens linked to crime and corruption.
The US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, in a status on the “Twitter” social network, writes that “those who have abused the public’s trust to enrich themselves and obstruct the rule of law, that is, those who have been involved in great corruption and have undermined democracy, they must face justice. No one is above the law.”
The British Embassy in our country has announced that the government of the United Kingdom has taken preventive actions against some Albanian individuals with widely publicized and documented links to crime and corruption.
“This week, the United Kingdom took preventive actions against several Albanian individuals related to widely publicized and documented crime and corruption. Together with Albania, we will make sure that no one is above the law“, says the post of the British embassy in Tirana.
