13 dead and 63 rescued is the balance of the sinking of a boat off the coast of the island of Paros in Greece.
According to the Greek Coast Guard, the boat carrying more than 80 illegal immigrants capsized in still unclear circumstances. Coast Guard rescue boats and helicopters arrived in the area giving first aid within minutes.
Passenger ships sailing to Piraeus also arrived in the area and were able to rescue dozens of them. Eyewitnesses saw several bodies drowned in the cold waters of the Aegean.
