The protest of the Democrats turned into a violent rally from the first moments that Sali Berisha’s supporters gathered in front of the blue headquarters.
The protesters were well prepared, as they took with them solid items such as hammers, levers, sticks, while they also used stones and other circumstantial tools to break the windows and open the doors of the PD headquarters, which they found closed but with violence managed to open and enter.
Tear gas was also used in the protest, mainly by people inside the headquarters who wanted to repel the crowd. Democrat supporters have used small incense burners, as can be seen from the photos below.
